Check out the new “Leveraging Resources Handbook” from the Village to Village Network, CLICK HERE.

This project highlights the value of existing Village and Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) collaborations and the exciting potential for the growth of these relationships. The purpose of the handbook being to serve as a catalyst for many more connections between Villages and AAAs as the organizations gain greater understanding of what each offers and how together we serve our common goal of an enriched and healthy environment for older adults.

The Capitol Hill Village virtual LGBTQ Intergenerational Symposium (established in 2020) centers the experiences and voices of LGBTQ community members of different ages. The purpose of the Symposium is to bring together generations of the LGBTQ community and allies to have fun, connect, and learn. The Symposium includes panels, breakout sessions, health and wellness sessions, and more!

This year’s theme is “Over the Rainbow” which centers around the idea that our community is continuously expanding, developing, and looking towards the future. The virtual Kickoff will take place on September 22nd at 6:00pm and the Symposium will be September 23rd from 12:00pm to 4:30pm. Registration opens on September 1st!
