Being part of Capitol Hill Village is more than just a fun thing to do, it has helped members create lasting friendships, feel more connected to their community, prepare for the future, give back, and much more.

Need a ride to the doctor? Want to join a book club? Looking for professional support? With 500+ events yearly and 25+ affinity groups, Village membership gives you options–not obligations.

Community & Connection
Over 500 social events annually including 25+ affinity groups. From book clubs to petanque, opera to walking groups, museum visits to game nights. Participate as much or as little as you like.

Volunteer Support
Get rides to medical appointments, help with errands like grocery shopping, tech support, friendly visits, and administrative help—all from trained volunteers.

Learning & Wellness

50+ educational programs yearly including Village Voices, Wellness Cafes, financial planning courses, plus QiGong, Tai Chi, yoga, meditation, and walking groups. Keep your mind and body active!

Care Services
Available with Membership Plus. Professional social workers provide resources, referrals, short-term case management, hospital discharge support, and ongoing assistance to aging in place related concerns.

Regular Membership

Individual: $405/year or $35/month

Household: $810/year or $70/month

No One Is Turned Away Because of Cost

Through the Jon Genderson Memorial Fund, we offer income-based memberships so cost is never a barrier. Individuals earning up to $57,400 or households up to $65,600 may qualify for subsidized rates starting at just $12/month.
