What is Capitol Hill Village?
Capitol Hill Village is a nonprofit established in 2007 serving older adults in Capitol Hill and surrounding DC neighborhoods. We're one of 74 villages in the DC metro region and one of nearly 300 nationwide, all dedicated to helping seniors age in place within their community.
We connect older adults to volunteer help, social activities, educational programs, transportation, and professional care navigation — everything you need to thrive at home.

Judy Berman
Executive Director
Judy Berman has served as Executive Director of Capitol Hill Village since 2019. With over 25 years of experience in nonprofit management and community development, she leads CHV's mission to help older adults thrive in their community. Judy is passionate about building intergenerational connections and ensuring all seniors have access to the support they need to age well at home.

Mary Bloodworth
Director of Operations
Mary Bloodworth oversees the day-to-day operations of Capitol Hill Village, ensuring our programs and services run smoothly. With her background in organizational management and her dedication to serving older adults, Mary helps coordinate the many moving parts that make CHV's work possible.

Lizzy Kosin
Director of Care Services
Lizzy Kosin leads CHV's care services programs, working directly with members who need extra support navigating healthcare, connecting with resources, and maintaining their independence. Her compassionate approach and expertise in elder care helps ensure our most vulnerable members receive personalized attention.

Ashvita Vasireddy
Community Mobility and Wellness Manager
Ashvita Vasireddy manages CHV's transportation and wellness programs. She coordinates volunteer drivers, oversees fitness and wellness initiatives, and works to ensure members can stay active and connected. Her enthusiasm for community building makes her a vital part of our team.

Pamela Johnson
Peer Health Outreach Specialist
Pamela Johnson works on health outreach and education initiatives, connecting with older adults throughout the community to share information about wellness resources and CHV programs. Her peer-to-peer approach helps build trust and expand our reach.

Sophia Ross
Digital Media and Grant Program Strategist
Sophia Ross manages CHV's digital communications and grant programs. She keeps our community informed through newsletters, social media, and our website, while also securing funding to support our programs. Her creative skills help tell the CHV story.

Alex Smith
Care Services Specialist
Alex Smith supports CHV's care services team, helping members access resources and navigate challenges. With a warm and patient demeanor, Alex ensures members feel heard and supported as they work through healthcare and daily living needs.

Maury Stern
President
Maury Stern serves as President of the Capitol Hill Village Board of Directors. A longtime Capitol Hill resident, Maury brings decades of leadership experience to CHV. He is committed to ensuring the organization continues to grow and serve the community effectively.

Cecilia Albert
Vice President
Cecilia "Ceci" Albert serves as Vice President and chairs the Endowment Trust. Her expertise in nonprofit governance and her passion for the Village movement make her an invaluable leader. Ceci is dedicated to building CHV's long-term sustainability.

Hank Brothers
Treasurer
Hank Brothers serves as Treasurer and chairs the Finance Committee. With his background in financial management, Hank ensures CHV maintains strong fiscal health and accountability. He is committed to responsible stewardship of the organization's resources.

Susan Sarfati
Secretary
Susan Sarfati serves as Secretary of the Board and is active on the Governance Committee. Her organizational skills and attention to detail help keep the Board running smoothly. Susan is passionate about transparent and effective governance.

Angela Beckham
Board Member
Angela Beckham brings her expertise in financial services to the CHV Board. She serves on the Finance Committee and is committed to ensuring CHV's programs reach all older adults who can benefit from them.

Christine Healey
Board Member
Christine Healey chairs the Advocacy Committee and serves on multiple other committees. Her background in policy and advocacy helps CHV amplify the voices of older adults on issues that matter to them.

Robyn Hinson-Jones
Board Member
Robyn Hinson-Jones is active on the Anti-Racism Advisory Committee, helping CHV advance its commitment to equity and inclusion. She brings valuable perspective on community engagement and social justice.

James Kennedy
Board Member
James Kennedy co-chairs the Anti-Racism Advisory Committee and serves on the Advocacy Committee. His dedication to equity and justice helps guide CHV's work to serve all members of our diverse community.

Ann Manheimer
