Vaccine Information

As of February 18th, it was announced that COVID-19 vaccine appointments will become available on an alternating weekly schedule, with appointments becoming available at 6:00 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays one week, and at 9:00 a.m. on Thursdays and Fridays the following week.

Thursdays will continue to be for eligible residents in priority zip codes, which includes those in zipcode 20002. Additional appointments will be released every Friday for all DC zip codes. The system of distribution will continue until further notice. For more information on who is currently eligible go to: https://coronavirus.dc.gov/vaccine

If you want to receive notifications directly from DC Government, you can sign-up for an alert via email or text message here for when the next appointments are available.

Click here for the COVID-19 vaccine appointment registration page. If you cannot or do not want to use the web portal or want more information about the COVID-19 vaccine call the DC Call Center at 1-855-363-0333.  Their hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 7pm and Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm. You can also contact 311 which will connect you to the DC Call Center. If you prefer email, contact vaccinatedc@dc.gov with any vaccine related questions.

We encourage everyone who gets vaccinated to sign up with V-Safe, the CDC Post-Vaccination Health Tracker.  They will check in with you daily, then weekly, then monthly for up to one year to assess the effects of the vaccine, will send a reminder for your second dose, and can advise you on whether any side effects you might experience warrant medical attention.  This is a public health initiative that will help researchers and the population as a whole.  Please consider participating.
