Join Our Movement — To Keep Capitol Hill Village Inclusive
In 2008, Stephen Rogers, a founding member of Capitol Hill Village established a fund to ensure that low income seniors could enjoy the benefits of Capitol Hill Village. The Stephen C. Rogers Memorial Fund supports seniors to participate in Capitol Hill Village programs and services.
What Does the Roger’s Fund Support?
Your donations subsidize membership dues for low income members and provide resources if they cannot afford something they need for their health and safety. For instance, recently, CHV paid a portion of the cost of a rollator for a member. Another member needed to have her teeth removed and dentures made. CHV paid for 25% of the amount not covered by insurance, and the member paid for the rest.
2019 Annual Rogers Fund Celebration
Please join us to be a part of this effort and to celebrate the 11th Anniversary of the
Rogers Fund supporting neighbors.
As you well know, engagement in Capitol Hill Village’s social, educational and volunteer activities improves personal well-being and mental acuity, and deters health crisis and reliance on public services. This is a goal we have for all members; and we know that you have this goal too. Your donation to the Rogers Fund and attendance at the event supports this work.
