Capitol Hill Village is a volunteer-first organization. Some Capitol Hill Village members may prefer to use the services of Capitol Hill Village preferred vendors instead of volunteers.   However, if a member agrees and a volunteer is available with the necessary skills to perform the task, a volunteer is assigned to perform the service.

You are invited to become a Capitol Hill Village volunteer to enjoy the rewards of working with others and possibly to enhance our efficiency in the categories described below. All volunteers must permit Capitol Hill Village to perform a criminal background check.  Volunteers report to a specific coordinator (Example: Transportation Coordinator, In Home Assistance Coordinator, etc).

If you have an interest in becoming a Capitol Hill Village volunteer, please call 202.543.1778 or e-mail info@capitolhillvillage.org
