James “Jim" R. Jones has split his 50-plus year career between public service and business. Upon graduating from Georgetown Law, Jones joined President Johnson’s White House where he became the youngest person to hold the Chief of Staff position. Returning to his home state of Oklahoma, he was elected to Congress for seven terms, attaining the post of Chairman of the House Budget Committee. He led the American Stock Exchange before being appointed by President Clinton as U.S. Ambassador to Mexico. After diplomatic service, Jones worked in New York briefly before returning to DC to become a partner in the firm of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips. He launched a consulting business helping US companies open markets in Latin America. He remains Chairman of the firm, Monarch-Global Strategies. $75
