L. Marie Guillory has lived a life of many chapters and paths. One consistency has been her ability to seek truth and work towards a greater good. Marie grew up one of thirteen children, on a farm during Jim Crow. Learn about her time as a nun, teaching and living in DC during the Kennedy era, and her eventual path to law school and practice as a lawyer. Marie’s faith and an unquenchable curiosity and intelligence have fused together to create a community leader whose wisdom and compassion is balanced by her insight and ability to seek truth and accountability.
